Dosen dan Staf ITN Malang Lakukan Vaksinasi Covid-19 Tahap Pertama

Malang, ITN.AC.ID – Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang telah melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19 terhadap dosen dan staf. Vaksinasi tahap pertama ini dilakukan dua hari, Selasa dan Kamis (25 dan 27 Mei 2021) di UMM Medical Center, Sumbersari, Kota Malang.
Vaksinasi Covid-19 memang sudah ditunggu oleh sivitas akademika Kampus Biru sejak awal digulirkan oleh pemerintah. Ini terbukti dengan antusiasnya dosen dan staf mulai dari proses pendaftaran di bulan Maret 2021 yang lalu hingga hari vaksinasi. Bahkan pimpinan institusi di hari pertama ikut mengawal, sekaligus melakukan vaksinasi bersama dosen dan staf.

Wakil Rektor I Bidang Akademik ITN Malang, Dr F Yudi Limpraptono ST MT menjelaskan, vaksinasi merupakan upaya meminimalisasi penyebaran Covid-19. “Saya salut, dosen dan staf ITN antusias datang dan antri untuk mendapatkan vaksin. Mereka juga terlihat tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Tidak perlu takut ya, saya hari ini juga sudah divaksin. Prosesnya cepat, tidak sakit,” ujar Yudi saat ditemui usai vaksinasi, Selasa (25/05/2021).
Dengan divaksinya sivitas akademika ITN Malang, maka Yudi optimis bulan September semua siap menyongsong penerimaan mahasiswa baru. “Bulan Agustus jadwal vaksin kedua. Sehingga September mendatang, jika diizinkan oleh pemerintah harapannya perkuliahan sudah offline. Kalau belum diizinkan, atau masih ada yang keberatan (offline), maka kami akan menjalankan hybrid learning (pembelajaran campuran),” jelas Yudi.
Sementara itu Kepala Bagian (Kabag) Kepegawaian ITN Malang, Nuning Irawati A.Md mengatakan, ITN Malang mengajukan vaksin untuk sivitas akademika kepada Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Malang. Sebanyak 260 dosen dan staf yang terdata lewat institusi akan menerima vaksin jenis AstraZeneca dengan nomor batch (kumpulan produksi) CTMAV546.
“ITN dapat vaksin AstraZeneca CTMAV546. Kemarin saya sudah berkonsultasi dengan dokter mengenai kode AstraZeneca 546. Vaksin kode ini aman digunakan, sehingga dosen dan staf ITN tidak perlu ragu. Ini (vaksinasi) adalah program pemerintah, semua harus dapat vaksin untuk melindungi diri dari Covid-19,” tegas Nuning yang ditemui di hari kedua pemberian vaksin, Kamis (27/05/2021).
Menurut Nuning, jumlah yang ikut vaksinasi tersebut memang tidak semua dari jumlah dosen dan staf. Pasalnya, sebagian sivitas akademika ITN Malang sudah mendapatkan vaksinasi terlebih dahulu sebelum jadwal vaksinasi institusi. Mereka mendapat vaksin dari tempat pasangannya bekerja. Ada juga sebab lain seperti, kondisi punya penyakit bawaan dan masih adanya ketakutan dengan vaksin jenis AstraZeneca.
“Kami tidak bisa memaksa bagi yang masih takut dengan vaksin AstraZeneca. Padahal kasus yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini adalah jenis AstraZeneca kode 547, dan itu sudah ditarik oleh pemerintah. Namun kebanyakan yang tidak ikut vaksinasi lewat institusi, karena sudah mendapatkan terlebih dahulu di tempat lain,” katanya.
ITN Malang akan menerima dua tahap vaksin. Tahap pertama pada bulan Mei dan tahap kedua pada Agustus 2021 mendatang. Bagi peserta yang akan menerima vaksin, maka prosedurnya adalah datang, mengisi biodata, melakukan pendaftaran, kemudian masuk ke ruang screening. Setelah dinyatakan aman menerima vaksinasi, maka peserta masuk ke ruang vaksinasi. Selesai vaksinasi peserta akan mendapatkan obat sebagai antisipasi timbulnya gejala akibat vaksinasi. Peserta juga akan mendapat sertifikat telah divaksin Covid-19 melalui SMS. Dan, juga mendapat sms berisi jadwal untuk vaksin tahap dua.
Dikatakan Nuning, menurut pengalaman penerima vaksin AstraZeneca akan mengalami efek samping seperti, rasa ngantuk, lapar, demam, atau pusing. Tiap orang bisa mengalami gejala yang berbeda, bahkan ada yang tidak mengalami efek samping.
“Setelah mendapat vaksin ini kami berharap dosen dan staf ITN Malang semakin sehat. Namun tetap tidak boleh lenggah. Meski sudah mendapat vaksin harus tetap menjaga 3M, memakai masker, mencuci tangan dan menjaga jarak.
